You know exactly what your business is. You can explain it to someone in thirty seconds and watch them get it.

You just don’t have a website that says the same thing.

Maybe there’s a quote from a designer sitting in your inbox that you haven’t answered. Maybe there’s a half-built Wix site you stopped logging into. Maybe you’ve had eleven tabs open comparing Squarespace and Shopify for three weeks, and then closed all of them. Maybe there’s nothing, and you send people to your Instagram and hope they scroll far enough.

It’s been like that for a while. It doesn’t have to be like that after Tuesday.

If you already have a site

Already have a website you fight with?

Maybe you built it yourself on Wix or Squarespace a while back, and some of it’s good. But every change means logging in, hunting for the right menu, dragging a box that won’t sit where you want it, and losing an hour you didn’t have. (And paying every month for the privilege.)

You don’t have to throw it away. Bring it with you. Your words, your photos and the parts you like become the starting point, and in the workshop you rebuild your most important page on your Design Profile, on your own domain. The rest of your pages follow the same way, whenever you’re ready.

After that, changing your site sounds like this. Plain English. Claude does it, you check it, and it’s live a minute later.

Once your domain points to the new site, you can cancel the builder plan. You’re out of the settings maze, and the site is yours.

What actually happens

Before1 hour

Before we meet.

You get a pre-work pack the day you book. Buy your domain, set up your accounts (GitHub and Netlify are free, Claude Pro is $20 a month, and you’ll need the free Claude desktop app), and get your words and your look ready: what you do, who it’s for, the one thing you want a visitor to do, a few websites you like, and your own photos. About an hour of your time. This is the part that takes real thinking, and it’s why three hours is enough.

Your Design Profile.

Before anyone builds anything, we turn your brand into a written set of rules. Colors, type, spacing, how it feels. You keep this file.

What to change next.

You leave knowing how to change it without me, plus the SEO plugin I give you: run it in Claude each month to check your site, pull in your Google Search Console data, and see what to improve next.

Why it doesn’t come out looking like AI made it

Everybody else

Rows of identical grey website templates

Most people open Claude and ask for a website. They get what everybody else gets, because they gave it what everybody else gave it, which is nothing.

Your Design Profile

Floating web pages, each with a different layout and personality, joined by gold lines

We start somewhere else. That first half hour builds your Design Profile, and every instruction after it runs through those rules. Fifteen people in this room will finish with fifteen sites that look nothing like each other, and none of them looking amateur.

That’s the whole trick. And you keep the file, so it works on everything you make afterward.

A few things people ask

I’m not technical.

You won’t write any code. Claude writes it, and I walk you through every step. You’ll need the free Claude desktop app, Mac or Windows, and the pre-work pack shows you how.

Can’t I just ask ChatGPT, Wix or Squarespace to build it with AI?

You can, and you’ll get what everybody else gets, because you gave it what everybody else gave it. The AI part is the easy bit now. The work is your Design Profile, your words, and finishing properly: your own domain, set up with Google. And it’s yours. The files sit in your own accounts, the hosting is free, and there’s no website platform charging you every month to keep it up. If you ever want to change tools, the site comes with you.

Three hours doesn’t sound like enough.

It is, if the thinking is done first. That’s what the pre-work is for, and I’ll chase you about it.

What if I get stuck?

The last block exists for that. I’m there to unstick people, not to lecture.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. Mac, Windows, doesn’t matter.

I already have a site. What happens to it?

Bring it. Your words and photos become the starting point, so you’re not starting from zero. Nothing happens to your current site until you decide. You build the new one at a temporary address during the workshop, look at it properly, and point your domain at it when you’re ready. The old one stays up the whole time.

Will people find it?

Not on its own. No website does, and anyone telling you three hours fixes search is selling you something. What you’ll have is a site built correctly underneath, loading fast, saying clearly what you do. That’s the part most sites get wrong long before search is the problem.

What else do I have to pay for?

Claude Pro at $20 a month, and a domain, usually $10 to $15 a year. Hosting is free. That’s the list.

merakiai.co

This page, and the rest of merakiai.co, was built the same way I’m about to show you.

The merakiai.co homepage on a desktop screen
The merakiai.co homepage on a phone

You’ll have a live website before we say goodbye, but you have to show up with your words written and your photos chosen.

In three hours, with me right beside you, you can build something good around your business. What nobody can do in three hours is figure out your business for you. That’s what the pre-work is for.

One payment, not a subscription.

Wix and Squarespace charge about $17 to $39 a month for a plan with your own domain and no ads. That’s roughly $200 to $470 a year, every year, for as long as your site is up, and if you stop paying, it comes down. For a site you’re renting. This is $297 once. After that it’s your domain, ten to fifteen dollars a year, and hosting is free.

Fifteen seats. That isn’t a marketing number. Fifteen is how many people I can watch and unstick in three hours.

$297. This is the first time I’m running it, which is why it’s $297 and not what it will be next time. You also get the recording and every update to the material.

P.S. In three hours we won’t build a ten-page site with a shop and a booking system. We build the one page that does the most work, which is usually the page that gets somebody to email you. It’s also where your site starts. It’s set up, your Design Profile is written, and you can add more pages, a contact form or bookings afterwards with the same tools you used on the day.
